Pybus Collection of Medical Books and Manuscripts. Conservation

Conservation of items in Pybus collection of medical books, and papers, gathered by Emeritus Professor F C Oybus, was presented to the University Library in 1965. Within the collection are books from the earliest days of printing until the 19th century. The selection of items for conservation was determined in the main by their scholarly interest and expected use rather than their deterioration condition.
