Buckland Abbey, Devon

Acquisition of farmland and associated buildings, to enhance and protect Buckland Abbey, former home of Sir Francis Drake, which is in the ownership of the National Trust. Includes Monks' Guesthouse, Oxsheds, Linhay and Place Barton House, all part of the original Buckland Abbey estate based around the 13th century Abbey which was converted into a residence in the 16th century.
